Fishing Times and Rules ∙ Sat 6/23 6am - Sun 6/24 4pm ∙ General Club rules apply. ∙ Fishing area: must stay within the EEZ line. ∙ Each day every enrolled boat must decide and announce on Ch 65 if they plan to fish for tournament fish (within the EEZ line) -or- if they plan a day to fish outside of the tournament (i.e, tuna fishing). ∙ Thus: A boat can start off the day Striper fishing within the EEZ and then branch off for other species, however, they are then not allowed to weigh in fish that day. And a boat that starts off the day fishing outside the EEZ line, cannot jump into the tournament later on that same day.
All captains or their representatives entering the Tournament must register at the Captain’s Meeting or by calling Syd Schultz on channel 65 the morning of the 23rd.
Awards: ∙ Cash awards based upon entry fees & heaviest fish in each tournament. 1st place: 40%, 2nd place 30%, 3rd place 20%, 4th place 10%; exact breakdown to be calculated after entry fee.
